Little Bo-Peep and her Sheep
Theatre Royal, Bath - 1972 A Maddox Pantomime features Keith & Alan Simmons as Tom The Piper and Jack Horner. The Comic was Billy Burden and the Dame was Clifford Henry. Keith recalls "There were four live sheep in this production. The lead sheep was called "Ben" and would wander down to the footlights and stare at the audience. The Principal boy, Jean Barrington was asked by Frank Maddox the producer to have a song prepared incase the sheep had an accident on the stage. Alan and I used to sit in the dressing room and we'd hear Jean's "special" song, and know that the sheep had made a mess again!"
