The design for "Eliza", the Dame played by Mr.Victor Stevens (who played Sister in the following year's Cinderella") is entitled "Sunday Best In The East End". Although we have no evidence, it would be fair to assume this is the Dame from "Whittington" especially as it refers to the East End of London.

Because this item is taken from the collection of the late Mrs Mae Rogers, the copyright and ownership of this image is, as yet, undecided and we have taken more than our usual precautions to safeguard this image and its future use.
