Since 1975 the Kenneth More Theatre has been producing renowned pantomimes under the direction of Vivyan Ellacott. For many of those years Nigel has provided not only the script, but also the costumes worn - having designed them they were then executed by Margaret Brice. As well as the Kenneth More, Nigel has supplied costumes to companies in the UK and several pantomimes aboard P&O's Cruise Liners Oriana and the Aurora. We are now pleased to announce that these costumes are now available to hire via the Kenneth More Theatre Wardrobe Hire, which is now fully refurbished and re-opening in September. There are a set of costumes for CINDERELLA and ALADDIN (previously hired by P&O) and there are also costumes for SNOW WHITE (excluding the Dwarfs - which are now in Belfast for Qdos), DICK WHITTINGTON and JACK AND THE BEANSTALK. In general the sets consist of chorus of 2/4/6 and sets of juveniles between 6-8 in each set. Below you will find some examples of costumes from the sets available.

For further information about hiring any of the sets, please contact the KMT by email. At the moment hiring is restricted to enquiries regarding full or part sets, not individual costumes. But if you are looking for the odd individual costume, or speciality set (like UV), it may well be worth enquiring. There is also a possibility of some limited scenic hire and large property hire - contact the KMT by email. Many of the sets and cloths are designed by Gerry Binns and we have some examples of his sets for Aladdin, and you can see the sets in the pictures below.
